Welcome to ansima
At Ansima we design and evaluate interfaces for both consumer and enterprise applications. We offer our service on all platforms. At Ansima we believe that the application interface is one of the most important parts of an application. The interface should ensure that the user is presented with methods for effective interaction to allow for both ease-of-use and good performance. The design of an effective interface goes beyond the aesthetic appeal of an application or device. It includes making sure that an interface is exposed to the user in a way that supports users’ intentions and meets expectations without being limited in functionality.
Good interface and interaction design can ensure the success of an application or device. This holds true for a website design, software for the desktop market, enterprise applications or handheld devices.
Targeted Interfaces
To design an interface requires attention to several key aspects of Human-Computer Interaction: knowledge of the user base, cognitive ability, physical ability, technical ability, domain knowledge, functionality, performance, and the properties and limitations of the device where the users are to interact with the interface.
We are working with both commercial and academic costumers to design and evaluate interfaces and interaction models. The results from this work has influenced the design of software applications and devices in both commercial and research ventures. Our designs include desktop software, web based interfaces, and hands-free and speech based solutions for hand-held and mobile devices. Some of this work has been published as journal articles and white papers over the past 15 years.
